International Job Relocations Research
Have
you or your partner relocated from overseas into Australia for work? If so, you may be interested in the Couples Coping with International Job
Relocations research project.
What is this project
about? Researchers
at Griffith University, Queensland are trying to understand the factors that
predict whether or not couples who relocate from overseas into Australia will
adjust to their new living and working conditions, work productively, and want
to continue living and working in Australia.
What’s
involved? Couples taking part
will be asked to complete a short, anonymous, online survey which takes about
20 minutes. The online survey will be
open until 6th
November 2009.
You
can help if you and your partner:
1.
Are married or in a de facto relationship
of 12 months or more
2.
Are both over 18 years of age
3.
Relocated to Australia mainly for work purposes (either your or
your partner’s work).
How
will this research benefit the ADTOA and its members? The ADTOA will be provided with a report
of overall findings from this research project.
The ADTOA will use these findings to help improve the services it
provides to ADTOA members who have relocated, or will relocate to Australia from
overseas. So, by participating in this
research, you can help the ADTOA to support its members from overseas.
